Grave Offence

This book is set back in 2009, when Lucy was 9 years old and Jonah was still undergoing hospital rehabilitation following the shooting incident which left him paralysed. We also meet Martin Riess, the Geology don whose life Lucy saved two years earlier (see Murder of a Martian for more on that!). and who is later a witness when the bursar of his college is murdered (all the details are in Awayday).

Grave Offence concerns a young woman whom Lucy and Martin see fleeing from two assailants aliong the bank f the river Thames early one morning and who later turns up dead in a grave in Wolvercote cemetery. How did she die? Who moved her body - and why? Luckily for the police, Jonah decides to take a hand from his hospital bed and it's not long before their questions are answered.
