Abuyug is like the “utang na loob” but utang na loob do not expect anything in return. While abuyug, is an act of Initiative to help mostly seen every crop harvesting and drying, usually the corn and rice which was the major product of Echague. For instance, my Father will help our neighbor in drying the corn they crop. In return when it’s time for my Father to dry his corn that neighbor whom my father helped, will also have the initiative to help , as a payment to the service given or extended by my father to them. And that will be a never ending payment.
