- In everything we do, it seems like music became one of the driving factors that helps us to go on and stay concentrated. Along with the songs playing in the background we tend to sing some of its part or much we sing the whole song in acapela while dancing we do this most especially when we do household chores like cleaning the house, washing dishes, washing clothes and commonly while cooking . But if I tell you that singing while doing one of those chores which is cooking, was seems like a curse you’ve enchanted for yourself, done by yourself.

I actually experienced it first hand, that’s when my mom would always scold me for singing while cooking and telling me things why I should never do it. At first I thought it was just of the bluffs my mom would always throws at me, only to find out that- according to her - when you're singing while cooking, you'll be attracting old men – triple times to your age- to be your partner or worst you'll be married to an old man. Which I think feels so taboo in the eyes or perspective of others. This goes the same to guys, they'll meet or marry an old woman who are triple times older than them, if they also sing while cooking. But that belief was during the old centuries where our ancestors cook using wood blocks or sticks. Then how about now that I'm cooking in Gas stoves? Will it be the same?
