Hi! I'm Ben Lash, a graduate student in Michigan State University's Arts, Cultural Management & Museum Studies M.A. program.

I graduated with bachelor’s degrees in cognitive science and theatre arts with a minor in psychology from Marquette University in the spring of 2022. Since moving to Michigan to begin working towards an MA in Arts, Cultural Management & Museum Studies, I've been working as a graduate assistant in the Writing, Information, and Digital Experience (WIDE) Lab, the ACM&MS department’s representative in the Council of Graduate Students (COGS), and a member of the board of directors at the Williamston Theatre.

Leadership Statement

As a facilitative leader, I believe that all team members should have a voice, regardless of their role. I strive to uplift and empower my collaborators through forming real, meaningful connections and letting all perspectives be heard. I will encourage growth in my colleagues by working to earn their trust through listening and showing my appreciation for their hard work. I am determined to lead with positivity, kindness, and transparency in all that I do, and I hope that I can do right by those who place their trust in me.
