WSISD Beginning Band

Mask up! Cape on!

WOW! What a week!

This past week has been amazing and very busy for our band students. We are so proud of them! At the beginning of the year, we didn't know if we would be able to perform as a full band with a live audience. It was an absolute pleasure to have Tannahill band students on stage this week!

We are so grateful and appreciative for all of our administrators and band parents who supported the band program throughout the year. Thank you for your patience as we look forward to next year and more band performances!

Online Learning

PLAY YOUR INSTRUMENT DAILY. Students should play along on their instruments with the videos in CANVAS Online Learning. If they cannot play the video, they must go back and do the previous assignment video again until mastered.

Students should have registered for Essential Elements Interactive. The instructions are in CANVAS. Once registered, students can play along as they learn music from their Essential Elements band book. We usually cover about a page per week in class.

ZOOM!

Please be sure your student is caught up on all "Online Learning" lessons in Canvas so they are ready for virtual instruction with Mrs. Goings! Students should bring their binder, instrument, and supplies to ZOOM lessons.

Look for the link on the ONLINE LEARNER section in CANVAS or use the link below. (Do NOT use ZOOM in the CANVAS sidebar.)
