BAGONG BARANGAY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is located on West Zamora St., Pandacan, Manila with a total lot of 2, 412 sq. meter, donated by USAID thru the effort of the PHHC. The said school was built during 1954 and was then an annex building of Jacinto Zamora Elementary school with only 8 classes. But as time goes by, the population gradually increases and houses and building nearby increases, which made the school what it is today.

The creation of BAGONG BARANGAY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISASTER RISK REDUCTION TEAM was first initiated by Sir Rolando A. Tuzon as the first School DRRM Coordinator, this was done through the DepEd Order (No.: 50, s. 2011), this DepEd order was the basis of creating DepEd DRRMO and are being observed up until now. The School’s Creation of DRRM aims to safeguard safety, readiness, and alertness and cater to all the needs of the learners and also the Faculty and Staff of the school in the onslaught of a disaster.
