By the virtue of Proclamation No. 115-A and Proclamation 360 s. 1986, the month of March is declared as Fire Prevention Month. The theme for this year’s observance is “Sa Pag-iwas ng Sunog, Hindi ka Nag-iisa.”

In lieu with this, Bagong Barangay Elementary School conducted an activity whereas, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) demonstrated a fire fighting activity using the fire truck.

The school will also conduct regular fire/earthquake drill not just during Fire Prevention Month but atleast once a month, all year round
