BAGONG BARANGAY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 61st FOUNDATION DAY

 Theme: BBES Matatag @ 61st: “ Aiming New Goals, Teaching Beyond the Normal Way” 

NARRATIVE REPORT 

Bagong Barangay Elementary School, celebrated its Foundation Days this year. This is one of the most important school events to celebrate every year to remember the humble beginning of the school. The school marked its 61st Foundation Day. It was celebrated for three days from October 25-27, 2023; all the activities were integrated with subject matters aligned. The goal of this celebration is to look back and commemorate the history of the school. It is something to look back and be thankful for. On its first day of celebration, Holy Mass was held. There were booths for each grade level selling nutritious foods that lasted for three days which the students could enjoy during their recess time. You could see the students how happy they were. Enjoying the moments, buying their favorite foods, and playing. 

On its second day of celebration, there was a “palarong pinoy”, where the students gathered and played. There was an inter-grade level Quiz Bee Elimination round about the History of BBES. Every participant was given a hand-out to review the history of their school. This is the chance to remind the students about the humble beginnings of the school and to appreciate the school's improvements over time. The top three scorers will be declared the winners to be awarded during the last day of the event. 

On the last day of the celebration, which is the main event there was a Field Demonstration competition from Kinder – Grade six. You can see the students how excited they were during this event. Their parents were excited as well in this competition. The school grounds look colorful wearing their different props. Everyone gave their best in their performances. 

The Foundation Celebration 2023 indeed was successful
