Silent Auction
Silent auctions and raffles are important to YPC as they serve as effective fundraising tools, foster community engagement, incentivize donors, and strengthen relationships within the community.
We have a silent auction and/or raffle at every YPC event, which collectively contribute thousands of dollars to our total funds raised for BBBS.
Guidelines for updating Donations Spreadsheet:
Partner Name: vendor name
Event: add the event you are reaching out about (this will determine which template to use)
Donation Type: Food/Restaurants, Fitness, Activities, Photo Booth, etc
Donation Description: are they donating food for an event or an item for a raffle/silent auction?
Status of Partnership: in conversation, awaiting response, etc
Notes/History of Outreach: add context of the outreach
Sponsor Name: add the contact’s name
Sponsor Contact Email: the contact's email
YPC Contact Name: YPC member who reached out
What to do once a contact replies:
Send them the follow up email and in-kind donation form (if they intend to donate)
Update the Status of Partnership field
Update the Notes/History of Outreach field
