ABOUT THE APP
Basic and Advanced Grammar is an English-learning app with grammar lessons, vocabulary, pronunciation practice, reading activities, adaptive quizzes, and original practice inspired by major English-language examinations.
No account is required. Learning progress and review history are stored locally on the device. The App does not provide cloud sync, so progress may be lost if the App is deleted, its local data is cleared, or the device is erased or replaced.
FREE AND PREMIUM ACCESS
Free access includes:
• all 172 legacy grammar learning lessons;
• the first mock test for each supported exam; and
• selected learning and review activities.
Premium unlocks the full Premium content library and removes Google ads while the Premium entitlement is active. Monthly and yearly subscriptions provide the same Premium access; only the billing period differs.
SUBSCRIPTION HELP
Subscriptions are purchased and billed through your Apple Account. To view, change, or cancel a subscription, open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. You can also manage subscriptions from the App Store account screen.
If you already subscribed but Premium is not active:
1. Confirm that the device is signed in with the Apple Account used for the purchase.
2. Check that the subscription is active in Apple’s subscription settings.
3. Open Basic and Advanced Grammar and use Restore Purchases.
4. Restart the App and try again with an internet connection.
The developer cannot cancel an Apple subscription, access your Apple Account, or issue an App Store refund directly. Apple handles billing records, cancellation, and refund requests.
PRONUNCIATION, SPEECH RECOGNITION, AND AUDIO
The App uses Aple text-to-speech voices to read words and examples aloud. Pronunciation practice can use Apple Speech Recognition and the device microphone. Microphone and speech-recognition access are optional, but pronunciation recording and feedback cannot work without them.
If pronunciation practice is unavailable, check Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone and Settings > Privacy & Security > Speech Recognition, then confirm that access is enabled for Basic and Advanced Grammar. Also check the device volume and selected language.
The App does not save voice recordings to a developer-controlled server. Depending on the device, language, network availability, and Aple’s platform behavior, speech recognition may be processed on the device or by Apple. See the Privacy Policy (https://sites.google.com/view/basicandadvancedgrammar/privacy) for more information.
ADS AND PRIVACY CHOICES
Free users may see consent-aware Google banner or interstitial ads. Where required, a consent or privacy-choice screen is shown before advertising requests are made. Premium users do not see ads while their Premium entitlement is active.
For details about local progress, speech features, advertising, purchases, and third-party services, read the Privacy Policy (https://sites.google.com/view/basicandadvancedgrammar/privacy).
EXAM PRACTICE NOTICE
All mock questions and learning materials in the App are original educational content. Exam names are used only to identify the format or skill area being practised. Basic and Advanced Grammar is independent and is not affiliated with, approved by, or endorsed by any examination provider. Practice results are estimates for learning purposes and are not official exam scores.
