CONTACT
For technical help, content corrections, privacy questions, or subscription support, email thebasicandadvanced@gmail.com. When reporting a technical issue, include your device model, Android and App versions, the steps that led to the issue, and a screenshot if useful. Do not send passwords, full payment details, or voice recordings. For a privacy or support-correspondence deletion request, write to this address; learning progress kept only on your device cannot be accessed or deleted remotely by the developer.
DATA DELETION REQUESTS
For the Basic and Advanced Grammar / English Grammar Android App, you can remove the active copy of your learning progress yourself: use an available in-App reset, or open Android Settings > Apps > English Grammar > Storage > Clear storage, or uninstall the App. This removes locally stored lesson activity, scores, incorrect answers, review history, preferences, and cached Premium status from the device. These records otherwise remain locally until you reset or remove App data or the device; Android or Google backups may keep a separate copy until you remove it or it expires under the backup provider's rules. The developer has no learning-progress account or server copy to delete remotely.
To request deletion of support correspondence that you previously sent, email the contact above with the subject "Android data deletion request" and give the sender address and approximate date of the earlier message so we can locate it. Do not send a password, payment-card number, or voice recording. We will review your request, verify it if necessary, and delete or anonymize the support email, screenshots, and issue details we hold when no longer needed to resolve the matter. We may retain information needed for a legal obligation, security, fraud prevention, or a dispute for as long as that purpose requires. Support records otherwise remain only while reasonably needed for the request and necessary follow-up, then are deleted or anonymized; there is no App learning-data server retention period. Google Play purchase records, ad and earlier-version analytics data, selected speech-provider data, and optional backups are handled by those providers under their own retention and deletion tools; the developer cannot erase provider-held copies. See the Android Privacy Policy below.
LEARNING AND FREE ACCESS
The App combines grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, adaptive quizzes, review, and original exam-style practice. No developer account is required. The 160 original bilingual Android lessons and 172 preserved visual grammar lessons remain free. The first mock test for each supported exam is also permanently free; it is not a timed subscription trial and does not begin a paid plan. Other activities marked free in the App remain available without Premium.
Progress, review schedules, and incorrect-answer history are stored locally on your device. An App update may import your earlier local best-score records. If you clear the App's storage, uninstall it, or replace your device, progress may be lost. Android or Google backup and device-transfer settings may preserve a copy independently of the App; the developer cannot restore local progress from a server.
PREMIUM AND GOOGLE PLAY BILLING
Monthly and yearly Premium plans provide the same access to the full Premium learning library and remove in-App ads while an active entitlement is recognized. The App shows the price and billing period before you confirm a purchase. Google Play handles payment, renewal, cancellation, and refunds. The developer does not receive your full payment-card number or Google Account password.
To check, manage, or cancel a plan, open Google Play > your profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, or visit https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions . Use the same Google Account that purchased the plan. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription. If Premium is active in Google Play but missing in the App, connect to the internet, reopen the App, and select Restore Purchases on the Premium screen. If it still fails, contact support with the App version and a description of the issue, but do not send full payment details or a password. Google Play handles billing and refund requests; the developer cannot directly cancel a Google Play subscription.
SPEAKING AND AUDIO HELP
The App uses your installed Android text-to-speech engine to read words and examples. Optional speaking practice needs microphone permission and a working Android speech-recognition service. The App prefers an available on-device recognizer; otherwise the service selected on your device may use a network connection. Google or another installed provider may process speech according to its own terms. The App does not keep a raw voice-recording archive or send recordings to a developer-operated server.
If playback fails, check media volume, the selected text-to-speech engine, installed voices, and language support in Android Settings. If spoken-answer practice fails, check the App's microphone permission, the selected recognition service, language support, and internet connection when the service requires it. You can deny microphone permission and continue using other lessons.
ADS, PRIVACY, AND EXAMS
Free users may see restricted Google ads. An active recognized Premium entitlement suppresses in-App ads. For details on local records, earlier Android versions, speech providers, advertising, billing, backups, and privacy choices, read the Android Privacy Policy: https://sites.google.com/view/basicandadvancedgrammar/android-privacy .
All mock questions and learning materials are original educational content. Exam names describe the type or skill area practised. The App is independent and is not affiliated with, approved by, or endorsed by an examination provider. Practice results are learning estimates, not official exam scores or certificates.
Android use is subject to the Android Terms of Use: https://sites.google.com/view/basicandadvancedgrammar/android-terms . Google Play's applicable terms also govern store distribution and purchases.
