Jamboree Medical Staff
We are always in need of staff, especially nurses. Volunteers need to be registered with their local council and they need a current My Scouting account. I also need to know what position they are applying for and what dates they could work.
The 2026 Medical Services Leadership Team is looking for volunteers for the 2026 Scout Jamboree – health care professionals and medical support staff. Staff positions are:
Physician
Physician Assistant
Advance Practice Nurse (NP, CNS)
Nurse
Mental Health Professional
Pharmacist
Paramedic/EMT
Technician/Aide
Clerk/Support Staff

Current YPT within 1 year of the close of the Jamboree.
Current BSA registration.
Credentialing
For the Jamboree Scoutsof America works with the state of West Virginia to provide limited reciprocity! This is why the credentialing process is so important. You do not need to try and get licensed to practice in WV, it is managed through Scouts of America and the state of WV. You will receive more information on credentialing as we get closer, but look at your renewal dates and take care of them well in advance of the event please.
Please note you must provide license verification within 120 days of event for all licenses and certifications (make sure it shows the date you obtained it) and license/certification must be current through the end of the Jamboree. The date of license verification may change with the new event, you will be notified. Credentialing is done on line.
Remember, CPR must be current through the end date of the Jamboree, so dont wait and renew now if you will expire before or during the Jamboree.
