Open classes for artists and crafters of any medium to join together with other artists and enthusiasts. Each session will feature a presentation by a local artist with a chance to engage in the medium presented though people can bring their own projects and work in a supportive environment together. Community Meals - The church provides a hot breakfast every Tuesday and Friday. Members and friends of this congregation contribute by cooking, dropping off meals, and donating food and cash.
Food and Fellowship - We gather together to cook a large dinner for ourselves and for the Good Samaritan Haven. We enjoy fellowship with each other and share our meal with others. It is truly food, fun, and fellowship.
Prayer Shawls - Members volunteer to make prayer shawls that are blessed by the church and can be given to others.
The Environment - We are certified as a “green sanctuary” by our national organization. This means that we try to have our buildings and grounds as environmentally sound as possible and we also try to educate our members to live sustainably. We also do an annual Earth Day worship service and need people to help organize that. If you are interested in such issues as global warming contact George Plumb.
Vermont Interfaith Action - This is a statewide organization that brings together churches from different religions to identify the most pressing human needs of a given geographical area and then work to make systematic changes to address those needs.
