I am at my little house on the beach in Oregon. It is calming and beautiful . WAIT- I must stop to tell you, what has happened? Where's the sun, the pretty white clouds, the blue sky, the ocean appears grey and the birds seem to be flying quickly to find shelter. Instantly the weather has changed right before my eyes. The rain has started and is crashing on the windows and porch obliterating my view. If nature can change so rapidly then maybe so can my mind forget memorable moments of my life. My writing can't keep up with my thoughts. How much time do I have left on this earth? What kind of legacy am I leaving for my family? Many questions are entering my head, NO ANSWERS. Now I will stop writing and be comfortable with the rain and wait for it to cease.
It has been a couple of hours and the sun came out several times but was snatched away by the wind, rain and those dark grey clouds. What has this taught me? A MAJOR LESSON - one can never wait for the perfect moment-one may always want the "SUN" which represents happiness, warmth and the feeling of love and the change of weather must be greeted with "thankfulness"
