Welcome to the school year 2025-2026!
When I was your age, I proudly participated and earned numerous prizes in various Math Olympiad competitions for students in Vietnam. Since middle school, math has been my favorite subject, a field I could immerse myself in for hours. My deep passion for problem-solving and the joy I found in mathematics inspired me to become a teacher. I knew I wanted to work with bright young minds and share the excitement that math brings into my life.
Now, I’m thrilled to be on the other side of the desk, bringing that same passion and expertise to my students, you! I believe each of you holds incredible potential, and I look forward to working alongside you this school year. Together, we’ll strengthen your mathematical knowledge, sharpen your skills, and unlock your ability to become confident, capable learners, both in math and beyond.
As a dedicated math teacher, my mission is to foster a genuine love for the subject and help students discover how math empowers them to solve problems, think critically, and create opportunities in life. Math is so much more than numbers and formulas; it’s a universal language that nurtures logic, structure, and creativity.
What motivates me most is witnessing those “lightbulb moments” when a concept finally clicks and a student’s eyes light up with understanding. Those moments remind me why I chose this path: to inspire, to guide, and to show students that they are fully capable of mastering even the most challenging material.
Beyond the classroom, I extend my love for teaching through my YouTube channel, where I create educational videos that break down complex mathematical concepts into clear, manageable lessons. These videos include tutorial guides, step-by-step problem-solving techniques, and real-life applications of math. I strive to make every video interactive and engaging, encouraging students to explore different strategies and develop a deeper understanding of math.
This channel serves as a valuable resource not only for my students, but also for parents and anyone looking to support their children in learning math beyond the classroom. Whether you’re preparing for a test, tackling tough problems, or building your foundation, my goal is to make math less intimidating and more empowering.
Through both teaching and content creation, I aim to make a lasting impact by transforming the way students view math from a barrier to a bridge for lifelong success.
My Advice for Success in Learning Math:
“Studying your notes seriously and doing your homework consistently will always lead to achievement.”
Reviewing notes activates your prior knowledge, while completing homework strengthens your understanding and boosts academic performance. Success on exams like the STAAR and AP tests especially earning a perfect score is just one reflection of your hard work and mastery.
To reach your goals, remember that dedication, perseverance, commitment, resilience, and diligence are five essential qualities that will carry you to the pinnacle of success.
And always keep this in mind:
“If you are failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”
I’m excited to let you know that this year I’ll be teaching Algebra 1, Pre-AP Algebra 2, and AP Calculus BC. Let’s make this an incredible academic year. I look forward to learning and growing with each of you!

AP Classroom provides practice questions and activities specifically aligned with the AP exam's format and content, helping students focus on areas that are most likely to be tested. Here are benefits:
Immediate Feedback: Many practice questions come with instant feedback, which helps students understand their mistakes and learn the correct concepts right away. This can enhance their learning and retention.
Progress Tracking: Students can monitor their performance over time, identify strengths and weaknesses, and adjust their study strategies accordingly. This tracking can also help in setting and achieving specific goals.
Familiarity with Exam Format: Regular practice on the platform familiarizes students with the exam’s format, including types of questions and timing, reducing test anxiety and improving performance.
Skill Development: AP Classroom often includes exercises that help build critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills that are crucial for the AP exams and beyond.
Resource Accessibility: It provides access to a variety of resources, such as practice tests, sample questions, and instructional materials, all in one place, which can make studying more efficient.
Overall, AP Classroom can enhance students’ preparation by offering structured, practice-oriented learning that is closely aligned with the AP exam requirements.
