Summer Assignments
Dear Community,
As an educator passionate about fostering mathematical understanding and excellence among students, I have created a range of comprehensive math resources designed to enhance learning and engagement in the classroom. I have been using these resources to support my students' learning needs and achieve great results. I am thrilled to share the exciting news that my summer packet has been chosen as a summer assignment for several high schools! It is an honor to have my work recognized in this way, and I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to students' learning experiences.
The selection of my summer packet as a summer assignment underscores its educational value and relevance in helping students stay engaged and prepared during the summer break. I believe that this assignment will not only enrich students' academic journeys but also foster a deeper appreciation for the subject matter.
I would like to extend my appreciation to the schools and educators who have chosen to incorporate my summer packet into their curriculum. I am confident that students will find it both informative and enjoyable as they embark on their summer learning adventures.
To ensure these resources remain accessible and continue to evolve, I rely on the generous support of individuals like you. Your donation will directly contribute to the development and distribution of high-quality materials that empower students to excel in mathematics.
Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant impact on the educational journey of countless students. Together, we can inspire a love for learning and build a brighter future through mathematics.
Thank you once again for your interest in utilizing my math resources. To ensure proper documentation and mutual understanding, I kindly request that you send me an email at bao.le@houstonisd.org to obtain written consent for their use. I look forward to hearing about the positive impact of my summer packet on students' academic growth.
Best regards,
Bao Le
Working on just a few problems daily during the summer can help students close the gaps in their math skills, preserve what they learned during the previous school year, and prepare for the next. They can take up daily challenges that they must complete. Engaging in summer math practice can be highly beneficial for students in several ways. Here are some reasons why summer math practice is advantageous:
Preventing the loss of academic skills and knowledge during the summer break.
Consistent practice helps students maintain a positive attitude toward learning.
Summer math practice allows students to reinforce their understanding of key concepts and skills.
Summer is an excellent time for students to address any weaknesses or gaps in their understanding of mathematical concepts.
Summer math practice often involves self-directed learning. This independence in learning fosters a sense of responsibility for their education and helps develop important problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
For students who will be moving on to more advanced math courses in the upcoming school year, summer practice can provide a head start.
Embracing challenges and viewing mistakes as opportunities for learning are key aspects of a growth mindset.
"A little progress each day adds up to big results."
If you are bored, you can attend the Math Camp or check out Mr. Le's YouTube Channel to learn about advanced math content.
Have a wonderful summer!

Here is the KEY. You may also need the Summer Assignment for Incoming Geometry Students. You should definitely at least give it a look over, even if you're not taking Geometry, just to get an idea of what Geometry course prerequisites will look like.
