Do I have to vote for 6 councillors?
No. You can vote for UP TO 6 councillors. You can vote for as few as 1 or even 0. The maximum you can vote for is 6. Vote for the people you WANT on your council.
I don't always agree with your stance on issues. How will you represent me?
Council members are accountable to ALL the citizens in Cold Lake. Regardless of varying opinions, I will endeavour to make your issue, my issue. If elected, you can always contact me to bring up an issue that is important to you.
Are you taking donations?
Currently, I have self-funded my campaign.Â
Often politicians promise to do certain things when elected. What do you promise to do if re-elected?
Council is made up of 6 councillors and the mayor. Together, the council makes decisions. For one person to promise to make changes, is a bad idea. I promise to listen to my constituents. I promise to bring forward any issues brought to my attention. I promise to work collaboratively with the others if elected. To me good ideas that benefit the community as a whole supercedes provincial and federal party allegiances.
