The author holds an honors degree in English Language and Literature. Her doctoral dissertation centered on comparative analyses of English translations of Kazakh literary works, focusing on the discrepancies between the original texts and their translations. As a freelancer, she has translated numerous literary works, course materials, and various textbooks from English into Kazakh. The outcomes of her translations have been featured in her scholarly articles and two published books: Translating Inter-Confessional Summit Texts (Almaty, 2012) and Theory and Practice of Translation (Almaty, 2015). She was also the project manager for a Kazakh-English-Russian dictionary and phrasebook that was published under the auspices of Astana Expo 2017; Editor-in-chief and translator of Kazakh-English Oxford Dictionary. She has also translated Michelle Obama's Becoming into Kazakh.
