Objective 2: Develop a social media plan that involves TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter.
As i mentioned before making things accessible and easy for people to see is very important. I played a pivotal role in crafting a strategic social media plan, centering our efforts on Twitter. Despite initial intentions to include Instagram and TikTok, time constraints prompted a shift, focusing exclusively on Twitter or now known as (X). Recognizing the platform's dynamic nature, we redirected our LinkedIn content to Twitter (X), capitalizing on its real-time engagement potential. A key element of our strategy involved actively following and engaging with policymakers and influential leaders across North Carolina.
By just focusing on Twitter (X), we aimed to leverage the platform's immediacy and reach, fostering meaningful connections with key stakeholders. This approach was not only given our time limitations but also strategic, as Twitter(X) emerged as an influential place for political discourse and information. Our decision to concentrate efforts on a single platform allowed us to streamline content creation, ensuring a cohesive and impactful online presence. Developing a social media plan with Twitter(X) can improve public health by spreading vital information across diverse age groups and communities, fostering awareness and encouraging healthy practices. Utilizing these platforms facilitates connections and positively influences public well-being. The status of this objective is complete.
