Teaching Art and Music
My experiences with arts and music education as a child were phenomenal and greatly shaped the way I view music and arts education as a teacher. I believe an arts education in both fascists is essential to the learning of a child. This is not only because it teaches them the physical skills of music, but the unseen skills of music and art such as focusing on a verbal and physical task at the same time, material management, mind and body connection, creativity, etc.
The arts and music teach children how to be accepting of each other and open up a great discussion in a classroom about accepting each other for who we are. Learning to make mistakes is part of the artistic process, and can help teach us a lot.
