Philosophy of Education

I believe that a child will not be able to learn at their full capacity if they do not feel physically and emotionally safe and supported in their classroom. All students should be treated equitably in a classroom, regardless of their physical or academic abilities. This means that students are met where they are at and brought to the same playing field based on their needs.

Additionally, students need to be in a physically and emotionally safe space to learn. Students will not reach a place where they're ready to learn if they do not feel comfortable with their surroundings. Children should feel safe in a classroom and supported by their teacher and peers.
