Project Details: Automotive Collision Repair or ABR
This was the Autobody Repair Program that was no longer an active program, and the entire building was not being used except as campus storage
I was given the entire building to use to relocate the Automotive Program
Reception area was turned into the computer lab
Reception desk was going to be cut then installed in the tool room as a student walk-up space
I was able to locate the original desk installation drawings and flipped the design and layout, draffted a floor plan with correct placement and there was no need to cut the desk

If you enter the main entrance (shown above looking east) it leads into the reception area (shown below). Wow! What a perfect reception desk for the automotive program. Where can we put it?

First, we moved this reception desk to its new home inside the TEC paint booth soon-to-be-tool room, will it fit?

We moved the shared computer lab for the AUT program to the reception area of ABR

We put some of the hazmat cabinets and chemicals in this space since it is blast proof.
