Living Language Experience (LLE)

Company Visits

企業訪問は、大学で日本語を勉強している学生がSalemとPortland近郊の日本企業にお邪魔して、ビジネスや文化についてお話を伺うというものです。

キャンパス内では経験できない貴重な学びの場として、学生の満足度も高い企画です。日本語教育に対する地域のご支援ご理解に恵まれたオレゴン州ならではの企画です。

Through the LLE program, Japanese businesses from Portland and surrounding area open their workplaces to college students studying Japanese in order to share and communicate their culture and business practices.

More than 10 years ago, the Shokookai of Portland (Japanese Business Association in Portland) and CASLS (Center for Applied Second Language Studies) at the University of Oregon created Living Language Experience (LLE) program for Oregon students studying Japanese. Since 2011, ATJO has been working with Shokookai to bring you this program, which has met with considerable success thanks to the volunteer efforts of Japanese companies.

                 1月   募集開始

      2月 募集締め切り

      3月初め 訪問企業決定

      4月～5月   企業訪問

2024年度の企業訪問ご参加校は、オレゴン州立大学、ルイスアンドクラーク大学、ポートランド州立大学の三校でした。

2025年度お申し込み開始：1月中旬
