On 2 January, The open star cluster M41 (NGC 2287; mag 4.6) in Canis Major will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:21, 45° above your southern horizon. 

On 15 January, The open star cluster M47 (NGC 2422; mag 4.5) in Puppis will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:21, 52° above your southern horizon. 

On 17 January, The open star cluster NGC 2451 (mag 2.8) in Puppis will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:21, 28° above your southern horizon. 

On 23 January, the open star cluster NGC 2547 (mag 4.7) in Vela will reach its highest point in the sky. 

On 31 January,  Beehive open star cluster (M44, NGC 2632, also known as Praesepe; mag 3.7) in Cancer will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:21, 86° above your southern horizon. 

On 31 January, The open star cluster IC 2395 (mag 4.6) in Vela will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:23, 18° above your southern horizon. 

1 Ceres will reach opposition when it lies opposite to the Sun in the sky. Lying in the constellation Coma Berenices, it will be visible for much of the night. 

On 14 April, The brightest globular cluster in the sky , Omega Centauri (mag 3.7) will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:20, 19° above your southern horizon. 

On 18 April, The globular cluster M3 (NGC 5272; mag 6.2) in Canes Venatici will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:20, 84° above your northern horizon. 

On 12 May, The globular cluster M5 (NGC 5904; mag 5.7) in Serpens will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:21, 68° above your southern horizon. 

On 28 MayThe globular cluster M4 (NGC 6121; mag 5.6) in Scorpius will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:23, 40° above your southern horizon. 

On 2 June, The Great Globular Cluster in Hercules (M13, NGC 6205; mag 5.8) will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:22, 76° above your northern horizon. 

On 3 June,The globular cluster M12 (NGC 6218; mag 6.7) in Ophiuchus will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:23, 64° above your southern horizon. 

On 7 June,The globular cluster M62 (NGC 6266; mag 6.5) in Ophiuchus will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:21, 36° above your southern horizon. 

On 17 June,The Butterfly open star cluster (M6, NGC 6405; mag 4.2) in Scorpius will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:21, 34° above your southern horizon. 

On 18 June,The open star cluster IC 4665 (mag 4.2) in Ophiuchus will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:23, 72° above your southern horizon. 

On 20 June, The Ptolemy Cluster (M7, NGC 6475; mag 4.1) in Scorpius will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:23, 31° above your southern horizon. 

On 23 June,The Lagoon Nebula (M8; mag 5.8) in Sagittarius will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:21, 42° above your southern horizon. 

On 29 June,The open star cluster NGC 6633 (mag 4.6) in Ophiuchus will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:21, 73° above your southern horizon.

On 1 July,The globular cluster M22 (mag 5.1) in Sagittarius will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:22, 42° above your southern horizon. 

On 2 July, The open star cluster IC 4756 (mag 5.0) in Serpens will then reach its highest point in the sky at 00:20, 72° above your southern horizon.

On 17 July,The globular cluster M55 (NGC 6809l; mag 6.3) in Sagittarius will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:22, 35° above your southern horizon. 

On 14 August, The globular cluster M15 (NGC 7078; mag 6.2) in Pegasus will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:22, 78° above your southern horizon. 

The Moon and Jupiter will share the same right ascension, with the Moon passing 3°23' to the north of Jupiter.At around the same time, the two objects will also make a close approach, technically called an appulse. 

On 2 October,The Andromeda Galaxy M31 (mag 4.4) will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:22, 71° above your northern horizon. 

The October Camelopardalid meteor shower will be active from 5 October to 6 October, producing its peak rate of meteors around 6 October. 

On 15 October, The Triangulum Galaxy M33 (mag 6.3) will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:21, 82° above your northern horizon. 

On 27 October,The Perseus Double Cluster (NGC 869 and NGC 884, each mag 4.0) will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:20, 56° above your northern horizon. 

On. 18 November, The Pleiades open star cluster (M45; mag 1.6) in Taurus will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:21, 89° above your northern horizon.

The Hyades open star cluster (Collinder 50; mag 1.0) in Taurus will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:21, 82° above your southern horizon. 

On 15 December,The Orion Nebula (M42; mag 0.4) will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:22, 61° above your southern horizon. 

The Comae Berenicid meteor shower will be active from 12 December to 23 December, producing its peak rate of meteors around 16 December. 

The Moon and Saturn will share the same right ascension, with the Moon passing 2°28' to the south of Saturn.At around the same time, the two objects will also make a close approach, technically called an appulse. 

The December Leonis Minorid meteor shower will be active from 5 December to 4 February, producing its peak rate of meteors around 20 December. 

On 29 December,The open star cluster NGC 2232 (mag 3.9) in Monoceros will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:20, 61° above your southern horizon. 

On 30 December,The Rosette Nebula (C49; mag 9) in Monoceros will reach its highest point in the sky at 00:20, 71° above your southern horizon.
