Chromebook Accessibility

Chromebooks are extremely popular in today's classrooms. Many schools have students 1-1 with Chromebooks, meaning that each student has a device assigned to them. Chromeboxes are also a popular choice in school computer labs and essentially function as a desktop version of a Chromebook.

Chromebooks have a number of different accessibility features that can be helpful as visual adaptations for students. For example, high contrast mode can help students whose visual needs are aided by white text on a black screen. The screen can also be easily magnified with the keyboard shortcut CTRL-Shift-+, which can make things easier to see.
