The purpose of this project was to design food packaging for a fictional food product, with personal branding. First I made a mood board to brainstorm ideas and take inspiration from real food packaging. I decided to make a product called "Snacking Veggies" which sells as small paperboard boxes of small vegetables that can be eaten raw. I then created content for the packaging and picked fonts and a color palette that fit the design. I integrated my name and a leaf logo into the packaging as the brand. Next, I created a die line for the package. For my project, the packaging involves color coding based on the vegetable inside the box. The different options are cucumbers, snap peas, baby carrots, and bell peppers. Each vegetable has its own color, and the die lines reflect this. Lastly, I created renderings of the packaging design on an actual box, from different angles.
