I will be building a science fiction themed puzzle room. The goal with this project is to bring meaningful physical interaction to players by creating a low-budget experience and to instill excitement in players about the future of technology and space travel.

getting each puzzle working in its almost final form as separate modules
setting up stand-in prototype of electronics to test code with
I learned that soldering to magnets reduces their magnetic qualities. The internet says that soldering a smaller magnet on top of a bigger magnet helps sink heat and maintain the magnetic pull in the smaller magnet, but I have yet to test this. At least one of my puzzles depends on magnetic connection for electricity to pass through when a component is being connected, so I need to make sure I figure this out.
