Respect for Diversity of Others

I chose this artifact, "School Counseling Cultural Competencies and Counseling Curriculum" to show some of my results when I researched for school counseling programs and curriculum that can be used to ensure the fulfillment of needs to all students. 

• ASCA Standards: A.1.h. Respect students’ and families’ values, beliefs and cultural background, as well as students’ sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression, and exercise great care to avoid imposing personal biases, beliefs or values rooted in one’s religion, culture or ethnicity.

• CACREP Standards: 2.F.4.c, 2.F.4.f, 2.F.4.g, 2.F.4.h, 2.F.4.j, 5.G.3.g

This artifact is a representation of the importance of cultural diversity and portrays my ability to analyze it.
