Here are some local community resources that can benefit students and their families through various needs. I believe it is important to be equipped with community resources and share community resources with stakeholders as it encourages students to work with people in their community. 

When working with a variety of students, it is important to be culturally competent in all we do as school counselors, especially in our curriculum. By being culturally competent we are not only identifying the needs within our student body, but also accurately advocating for all students.
