We start this project by thinking about the type of creature we want to make. Kindergarten has a paper they fill out, this keeps the design simple. 1st and up draw their ideas in their sketch books. Once the students have sometime to think about their design, drawing guides are offered to those who need them. It is important to allow time for students to try independently, it promotes unique ideas.
