About Me

My career began in the arts, but over the past decade, education has given me the opportunity to develop a much broader skill set in learning and development, training, facilitation, leadership, and program coordination. I began my career as an elementary art teacher in 2015 after earning my Bachelor of Arts and Design, and later earned a Master of Education in Applied Digital Learning.

Throughout my career, I have designed and facilitated learning experiences for diverse audiences, managed multiple projects and competing priorities, developed presentations and instructional materials, and used technology to make complex ideas more accessible and engaging. Since 2021, I have designed and facilitated digital art training for approximately 1,000 educators across Central Texas through Region 13. I have also mentored educators across my district, supported professional development initiatives, and led programs focused on creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and technology.

My experience has taught me how to quickly understand the needs of an audience, communicate clearly, build strong relationships, manage projects from concept through execution, and adapt when priorities change. My earlier experience in customer service at Nordstrom also strengthened my ability to identify needs, provide thoughtful solutions, and create positive experiences for others.

I have greatly valued my time in education and am proud of the impact I have made as an educator, mentor, facilitator, and leader. At this point in my career, however, I am ready for a new challenge. I am excited to take the skills and perspective I have developed through education and apply them in a corporate environment where I can continue learning, contribute to larger organizational goals, and take on new opportunities for growth.

I am especially interested in opportunities in learning and development, training and facilitation, instructional design, employee experience, program coordination, and other roles where creativity, communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving are valued.
