As a practicing artist and lifelong creative problem-solver, I enjoy turning ideas into tangible, engaging creations. My artistic background has given me extensive hands-on experience designing, building, and creating props, displays, costumes, and a wide variety of handcrafted projects. With a minor in Theatre, I have developed a particular interest in prop making and the creative process of transforming an idea, sketch, or concept into something that can be seen, touched, and experienced.

I enjoy working with a wide range of materials and am always willing to experiment with new techniques, tools, and approaches. Whether I am constructing a theatrical prop, creating a classroom display, developing a handmade craft, or figuring out how to recreate something I have seen, I approach each project with curiosity and a willingness to try something new. I am comfortable troubleshooting challenges, adapting my plans, and finding creative solutions when a project doesn’t go as expected.

I also enjoy the challenge of taking everyday materials and finding new ways to use them. My experience as both an artist and educator has encouraged me to think creatively about how things are made and how those processes can be shared with others. I particularly enjoy creating DIY projects, developing craft tutorials, and breaking down complicated processes into approachable steps that others can follow.

At the heart of my creative practice is a love of making. I genuinely enjoy the process of figuring things out, experimenting, learning from mistakes, and watching an idea gradually become a finished creation. I bring a resourceful, hands-on approach to every project and enjoy using creativity, craftsmanship, and problem-solving to make ideas come to life.
