Ending your contract
Eligibility: Vendors may end their contract after the initial 3 months, provided they give a 6-weeks notice before their desired end date. This timeline ensures we have enough time to stop the automatic renewal of your membership. Your deposit will be applied as your last month's space rental payment. While Explicit Art Wall Spots do not have a minimum commitment term, vendors must still provide a 6-weeks notice prior to cancellation.
End Date Alignment: Your cancellation date must match the same calendar day of your membership start date and align with the end of a billing cycle.
Example: If your membership began on November 1st and you wish to end it on March 1st, you must provide your cancellation notice no later than January 19th (6 weeks prior).
Late Notice: If a cancellation notice is not given in time and your last month's membership is automatically charged, we cannot refund the extra payment.
Freeze Period: Membership cancellations are not permitted in December, January, or February, except for Explicit Art Wall spots.
After confirming your cancellation, our staff will email you to coordinate your move-out.
Move-outs must be done on weekdays, and you must arrive before 1 PM.
On your move-out day:
Remove all products, and your shelf if you have a Wall Spot.
Leave your space clean and free of trash.
Any wall holes from drilling must be filled.
Your final payout will be issued on the 1st of the following month (or the 2nd if the 1st falls on a holiday).
For out-of-town vendors who require their shelf, displays, or products shipped back at the end of their membership, our team will handle the return. Vendors are responsible for covering the shipping costs.
Discovery Shelf cancellation
Cancellations for reserved Discovery Shelf spots are processed as follows:
If cancelled at least one month before your Discovery cycle begins: Full refund (minus Stripe/Helcim processing fees).
If cancelled less than one month before your Discovery cycle begins: Non-refundable.
You may also request to move your reservation to a later Discovery cycle, but this must be done at least one month before your assigned start date. Requests made after this time cannot be accepted, and the cycle you miss will not be refunded.
