At Ar Teaghlach Medical & Maternity, we currently support the following pregnancy and healthcare HUD systems:

Our Approach to Care

We pride ourselves on providing thorough, realistic, and immersive maternity care. Maintaining this level of service requires time and resources, which is why our comprehensive care packages are offered at a fee.

However, we understand that not everyone wishes or is able to purchase a full package. A free Basic Universal Care option is available, with further details provided below.

Your First Visit

Your first appointment is all about getting started and meeting your chosen doctor. During this visit, your doctor will:

Scan and review your pregnancy HUD
Discuss your pregnancy and answer any questions
Help you choose the care package that best suits your needs
Carry out basic observations if you are under 10 weeks
Perform a pregnancy test if requested
Guide you through providing your required urine sample

Your doctor will explain everything you need to know about the urine sample and how to complete it during your appointment.

Please note: Your initial consultation is separate from your chosen pregnancy package.

Important HUD Information

If you are using Hands on Mommy and your HUD is not at full health when you begin care with us, your health will be restored to the required standard as part of our usual care protocol.

Even if you choose our free Basic Universal Care option, you will still need to pay L$1 to the correct vendor when registering. This amount is automatically refunded and is simply required to enter you into our system.

Home Birth Policy

Please be aware that Ar Teaghlach Medical & Maternity does not provide home births.

This policy allows us to maintain a controlled and appropriate environment for birth roleplay. Because our birth roleplay requires the mother to be undressed from the waist down, we cannot guarantee that a private home environment will remain free from children or other situations that could create a violation of Second Life's Terms of Service.

For the safety, privacy, and professionalism of everyone involved, all births must therefore take place within an appropriate Ar Teaghlach birthing environment.

Basic Universal Care patients do not receive any graphic printouts other than Birth Certificate, as these entail Linden expenses for the doctor and/or their staff to create or upload.

Basic Universal Care patients also do not get to choose their birthing location, unless they have paid for an upgrade.
