Each birthing area has its own place to give birth and bond with your baby afterwards - while they may be expensive, each was built by Dr. Dalgaard from the ground up, using her own equipment and landscaping supplies. Every area has facilities for each system we support - Mama Allpa, LoveMomma and Hands on Mommy.

Throughout the outdoor areas of Ar Teaghlach Medical Land, you’ll find naturally heated hot springs, warmed by the ever-active volcanoes just off the coast.

The volcanoes’ constant activity provides a continuous source of warmth, keeping the waters of the Valley comfortably heated throughout the year.

Whether you’re taking a quiet moment for yourself or simply enjoying the tranquil atmosphere of the Valley, the warm waters offer a unique and soothing addition to your Ar Teaghlach experience.

Birth Suite 2 (The Bonsai Room) - L$1,500

Step into a warm and welcoming birthing space designed to help expecting parents feel comfortable, relaxed, and at ease. Soft shades of pink and green blend beautifully with subtle Chinese-inspired touches, creating a peaceful atmosphere filled with warmth and tranquillity.

The room offers a labour ball and supportive birthing chair to help you find comfort and relaxation as you move through each stage of labour. When the time comes, a comfortable bed provides a calm and inviting space to welcome your little one into the world.

Step into a peaceful and beautifully appointed birthing room, designed in soothing shades of blue and warm natural brown to create a calm and welcoming atmosphere throughout your birth experience.

At the heart of the room is a private tiled bathing alcove, featuring comfortable birthing baths where you can relax and welcome your little one in a tranquil setting.

For those choosing to labour outside the water, a supportive labour chair and pregnancy pillow provide comfort and relaxation as you move through each stage of labour. A comfortable seating area is also available for family and guests, allowing your loved ones to remain close and share in these special moments.

The Waterfall Retreat - L$3,500

Discover the peaceful beauty of our Waterfall Retreat, a serene birthing sanctuary nestled among nature and surrounded by the gentle sounds of the forest.

The soothing roar of the waterfall creates a calming backdrop as you welcome your little one into the world, accompanied by the soft croaking of frogs, the gentle footsteps of deer, and the delicate hum of dragonflies.
