Pratical Information
Accommodation: We have booked 9 rooms at the Hotel La Paz, about 20 minutes' drive from the BITS Goa campus. Here is the map link. The rest of the accommodations are inside the campus. We will share accommodation arrangement details for individual participants in a while.
Airport pickup/drop-off: The hotel provides airport (Dabolim airport) pick-up and drop-off cab service, free of charge. For the international participants, we will arrange transport to and from the airport.
Food: If you are staying at La Paz, you may choose to have breakfast there, which is included in your stay package. Those staying inside the campus may opt for breakfast either at the guest house/ the messes or any other eateries on campus. Tea/ coffee and lunch will be arranged by us. Goa being India's most popular tourist destination, a wide choice of culinary delicacies await you outside the campus. We leave it up to the participants to venture out into diverse food options for dinner outside the campus. We will try to keep some cars at our disposal for transport to a nice quaint beach.
Advisory: Goa has tropical humid weather, and you may expect temperatures to rise up to 33 degrees Celcius during the day, even in February. On a lighter note, jeans never is a popular attire here in Goa.
