Medications
· Ask pharmacist if the following would be possible:
-Print labels in large type.
-Cut pills in half if needed.
-Bubble-pack medications.
-Have medications sent via mail.
-Reuse the same container if it is personally marked.
· Pill organizers come in various sizes with one or more sections for each day or time of day.
· Organize medications on shelf alphabetically or according to frequency of use.
· Use divided box or tray to hold medications.
· Use Braille labels, colored tape, colored rubber bands to identify medication.
· Use different shaped bottles to identify medications.
· A bread pan or muffin tin can be used as a medication container.
· Talking pills bottles can be ordered through adaptive equipment vendors
