Clothing & Accessories
· Have adequate lighting in closets.
· Separate garments by color or texture.
· Recognize clothing by cut, style, buttons or pockets.
· Group coordinating sets of clothing together, with accessories and jewelry in pockets or on the hanger.
· Place casual clothing at one end of the closet, with business or dressier clothes at the other.
· Have someone you trust check your clothes for spots or tears.
· Use plastic trays or boxes as dividers in cupboards or drawers.
· Store jewelry in a divided box.
· Use pins or tags to identify colors. Example: 1 pin for black, 2 for blue, 3 for green.
· Clip-on earrings-clip together.
· Use tie rack for chains, etc.
· Use buttons, safety pins, French-knot stitches or small Braille clothing tags to distinguish colors or similar clothing designs.
· Use iron-on tape cut in patterns placed on underside of neck label to identify similar clothing.
