Bath & Body Works has a rich and still incompletely documented history with the rubber duck. Over the years, ducks appeared in different colors, finishes, patterns, seasonal designs, gift sets, and promotional contexts—turning a familiar bath toy into a collectible associated with the brand.
The American Rubber Duck Museum is building a documented collection of these surviving ducks while investigating when they were sold, how the designs developed, and how they were used in Bath & Body Works stores and promotions.
Many original product names and release dates remain unknown. The DuckDex records below distinguish what we can confirm from surviving objects and contemporary evidence from what remains under investigation.
