6L) This artifact is a list of spelling words that went out weekly to students during student teaching. Each week words would change and students would practice them at home and in class. In-class activities for added instruction with spelling words include group work spelling, practice tests, and reading comprehension activities involving weekly spelling words. This helped students improve oral communication, reading, and writing.
6E) This artifact is sample from a game played with students in which they say the sound, then write a word with that sound in it, then write a sentence with the word in it. This helps students exercise both oral language skills as well as spelling and writing.
