Standard 3 - Planning for Differentiated Instruction – The competent teacher plans and designs instruction based on content area knowledge, diverse student characteristics, student performance data, curriculum goals, and the community context. The teacher plans for ongoing student growth and achievement.
3F) This is a lesson plan done for pre student teaching in which the paraprofessional works 1:1 with students that need extra support in the classroom. The lesson plan includes the area for differentiation and when implemented, students that are both academically high and low receive the support that they need, utilizing all resources possible within the classroom.
3H) This artifact represents the classroom rules established from the beginning of the year. This artifact help students visualize what they need to be doing as well as remind them if they become distracted.
