I graduated from Sparrows Point High School and took part in their magnet program.
I am a student at CCBC Dundalk/Essex and am currently enrolled under the General Studies major.
I am unsure what I want my future profession to be but I am trying to decide now. I am leaning towards a career in social science or writing.
When I'm not at school or working I like to read, talk to my friends, and play video games. I believe that it is important for people to find some free time that doesn't involve productivity. I struggle with this concept myself, so I like to remind myself that I deserve a break too.
I thought this topic deserved it's own section because music has a massive influence over my life. My favorite genres are pop-punk, alternative, and rock. I love going to concerts and hearing my favorite artists live. I mainly listen to Pierce the Veil, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, and Green Day. I recently saw My Chemical Romance perform live, which meant so much to me because I never thought I'd get the opportunity to hear them play live since their disbandment. The picture to the left is from the concert!
"It says "home is where your heart is", but what a shame, 'cause everyone's heart doesn't beat the same." -Jesus of Suburbia by Green Day
I love this song and got to hear it live, so it holds a special place in my heart. This song to me emphasizes the importance of uniqueness. The song symbolizes rebelling from expectations and moving on from things that no longer make you happy.
End of Semester Reflection
This class has been one of the highlights of my semester. I found the coursework challenging, but not overwhelming. The lessons in this course also expanded my computer literacy and provided me with skills that will help in future learning endeavors. This website was fun to create and made me realize that designing a website doesn't have to be complex. Overall, my experience with this course was enjoyable and one of my favorites this semester.
