Remote Learning Artifacts

During the pandemic shut down, I had was thrown into working from home as a paraprofessional. I worked with the Kindergarten grade and in order to support their learning I created a YouTube channel. On my channel I would upload videos of our sigh word lists for additional practice at home. I also set up a Google doc choice board for additional resources for independent practice. The choice board included content for reading, math, writing and yoga with links and photos for supporting pre-readers. The board included all my sight word videos with hyperlinks and included educational resource videos such as Jack Hartman with the current concepts we were working on. There also was a writing prompt of the day to practice writing a complete sentence. In addition, I would also put a few Cosmic kids yoga videos to promote a healthy body and mind while working at home. The choice board was a great resource for students who did not have a lot of support from grown ups, who were also working at home. It was also a great resource for students who were at daycare and needed additional academic supports to get through their longer day. Below you will find some of my videos. Also, below you will see a presentation I would use to use during writing workshop time. I would present my screen to kindergarteners and we would work on our writing standards together.
