SaBOTage! is a physical card game that I made. It is a cooperative game where players take turns picking "parts" to put on their robots, and then send the robots into combat, but there's also another layer of deception and deceit (primarily inspired by Secret Hitler, one of my favorite card games) to keep the gameplay interesting.Â
The game is made up of 49 cards and 2 game boards. It also includes 12 role cards, but only 6 players are really needed to play the game. I have attached the actual PDFs for the cards so that you can print and cut them out yourself, if you wish!
When cutting out cards, you should use an exacto-knife or a similar tool to cut a slit across the black line on each cards. This allows the player to insert the card into the tabs on the gameboards.
The "Faction" cards all have a different card back from the "part" cards so that they can be distinguished more easily.
You should cut the game boards on the three sides farthest from the center of each of the 5 rectangles representing the different parts of the robot (weapon, utility, chassis, and the two leg rectangles). This creates tabs which players can use to insert the "part" cards into.
