Charlottesville Albemarle Livestock Family (C.A.L.F.) Club allows youth to raise, show, and potentially sell a variety of livestock animals. As a livestock-based club, this program teaches youth valuable life skills including responsibility, sportsmanship, and animal husbandry. The club includes opportunities for youth at the Cloverbud, Junior, and Senior levels. Members may compete in livestock shows from county to state level, and will use project books to record information on their project animals. Meetings feature agriculture-related topics.
