4-H Clubs are a great way for kids to make new friends, explore their interests, and learn valuable skills. Open to youth ages 5–19, our clubs offer a wide variety of topics and activities to match every passion, from animals and cooking to science, leadership, and more. All clubs are conveniently located in Charlottesville and the surrounding Albemarle County, giving kids the chance to connect, grow, and have fun close to home.
HOW TO JOIN:
Enroll in 4-H Online. https://v2.4honline.com/#/user/sign-in
Select Albemarle as Unit.
Select a Club from the list below.
Select a Project listed under the Club you have selected.

Community Clubs - initiated and facilitated by youth and adult volunteers in the context of community (e.g., neighborhood). Club members experience a variety of 4-H curriculums and projects. Volunteers lead Project Groups to study topics of interest to the youth. Main Club meets once per month. Project Groups can meet monthly or seasonally. Project Groups complete at least 6 hours of Project Time, and often complete Project Record Books.

Teen Leadership Club - Teens from all across Albemarle and Charlottesville are invited to enroll in 4-H and participate in the Teen Leadership Club. The purpose of this club is to develop teen leadership, communication, teambuilding, decision-making, and service in the our local community. Many teens participate in State 4-H Congress, held annually in June at Virginia Tech, and/or serve as 4-H Teen Leaders at 4-H Junior Camp held annually each summer at Holiday Lake 4-H Educational Center in Appomattox, Virginia.
