There are so many digital resources available for teachers today. For this assignment, I was able to identify, explore, evaluate, and curate research on digital resources for the classroom. This assignment aligns with the ISTE standard 2.2c by adopting new technological resources into the classroom. Click here to see the document.

Crowdfunding

Through the website "donorschoose.org", I was able to look at the many different ways there are for teachers to accelerate, advocate, and advance students in educational technology. There are so many opportunities for others to get involved and aid in the education of students. This assignment aligned with the ISTE standard 2.2a-b as it requires teachers to advance technological learning by aiding in diverse needs and opportunities. Click here to see the video.

Empowering and advocating for your students to advance in their education is so important as a teacher. One of the teachers that showcased this to me was Dr. Salinas. She continuously leads her classroom with the goal of our advancement and change in education. In many of our assignments, she gave us the freedom to conduct research on the technology that we wanted to use in the classroom. She facilitated our advancement by aiding us with the different visions of learning we had.
