The 22nd AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Interactive Digital Entertainment (AIIDE 2026) is the next in an annual series of conferences showcasing interdisciplinary research on modeling, developing, and evaluating artificial intelligence in interactive digital entertainment. AIIDE 2026 provides a meeting place for AI researchers, scholars, and practitioners to discuss the latest advances in entertainment-focused AI.Â
AIIDE is one of the flagship conferences of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI).
Special Theme: New Grounds
Special Theme: New Grounds
As this is the first AIIDE conference to be held outside the United States and Canada, we are planning a theme of New Grounds. We encourage work that explores new problem settings, applications, and contexts for AI in games and interactive digital entertainment, including extensions of established AIIDE methods to new domains, platforms, and constraints.
