Artificial Intelligence and Piano Genie: In order to create realistic piano music from rhythmic input, Piano Genie uses machine learning. It was trained on about 1,400 recordings of virtuoso pianists.
Background: Piano Genie was created as part of Google's Magenta project, which aims to determine whether AI can be used to create music and visual art.
