Privacy Highlights: To save your work, you can create an account with your email address, a password, and a username. (You could also include your country and Twitter handle on your profile.) You can also submit your sessions to the community so that others can listen. If students are creating their own accounts, privacy policies may not meet COPPA requirements for children under 13.
Background: Apotome was created by Kyham Allami and Counterpoint (a collaboration between Tero Parviainen and Samuel Diggins) to provide digital tools that include musics of non-Western cultures and encourage exploration of the many existing tuning systems. It was designed with the goal of helping users learn to listen in different ways and inspiring them to think differently about music.
